What a tiring day...Had been busy preparing for competition the past few days..

Past 2 days had been away from lab... Monday was at lecture hall with samantha and faiz preparing for the javajive competition.. Did alot of editing to the ppt slides, rehearing many times for the presentation..

Ytd was the day of the competition.. Went to school as usual, did a few rounds of presentation at lt for the final time.. Had a short break.. Around 12pm, our supervisor drove us to ite college east where the competition is held at.. Waited for awhile.. 3 of us was quite nervous.. 1pm was our time to present.. Everything went well, only a technical problem occurred during the demo.. and a bit of hell during the Q&A.. Haiz..

Waited for the result.. Announced only around 5.30pm.. We didnt get into the final.. Just got ourselves a certificate each.. Although we didnt make it, we do gained experience from it and we did our best.. It's really a new experience for me as i had never participate in this type of major competition before.. presenting in front of a panel of judges from sun microsystems, IDA and some other commercial companies.. It's a whole new experience that really worth after all..

There's a teacher, katherine from the communication skills department in eng sch.. She helped us alot for our presentation.. Guiding us through everything, spending so much time with us.. We really appreciated her alot! Thanks her so much! she's a very nice teacher.. Learnt some important skills from her..

Well, today is back to lab.. Was tired and dunno what to do.. Both me and sam fall asleep.. haha.. After i woke up, just searched for books and references for the SCJP(Sun Certified Java Programmer) exam.. Have to start studying for it.. Exam on the 31th July..

the encouragement from our teacher,katherine-
"it is never about the winning when you take part in competitions – at the end of the day, it is giving off your best and learning something new that counts."
